Restaurants I would recommend:
The Front Porch & Piano Bar: Famous for it’s Piano Bar, FUN & VIBRANT staff & atmosphere, and the delicious apps with out-of-this-world cocktails, this is our go-to-spot located in the heart of the downtown.
That Place in Ogunquit: A laid-back & always packed restaurant with a diverse menu featuring everything from seafood to burgers. The bar area is our favorite but the dining area is also fantastic. Located near Perkins with a parking lot across the street for convenience.
Barnacle Billy's: A classic CASUAL & BUSY seafood joint overlooking Perkins Cove. Barnacle Billy's is famous for its lobster, clam chowder, and my husband’s favorite, the Strawberry Lemonade Cocktail. Enjoy your meal on their outdoor deck overlooking the sailing & fishing chartered boats.
MC Perkins: Known for its stunning water views of Oarweed Cove, this upscale dining experience offers an amazing raw bar selection, curated seafood specials, and a great wine selection to put you in a romantic mood. Located in the Perkins Cove area of Ogunquit.
Loveshack: If you're looking for ACAI Bowls this is THE place! "Worth waiting in line for.” Located downtown.
Ogunquit Lobster Pound: Established 1931, casual atmosphere and in my opinion, the only restaurant to eat FRESH LOBSTER and you pick your own lobster! Located on Rt 1 in Ogunquit.
Places I would recommend to Stay:
Salt & Shine Vacation Rental Property & Mgmt: Over 10 years of experience in finding the perfect family or luxury vacation rental property & vacation experience. I would highly recommend BOOKING DIRECT.
Cliff House Maine: Perched on the cliffs overlooking the Atlantic Ocean, Cliff House Maine is a luxury hotel offering stunning views and top-notch amenities. Perfect for romantic getaways.
The Beachmere Inn: This historic inn combines old-world charm with modern comforts. The Beachmere Inn provides cozy rooms, beach access, and exceptional hospitality.
Anchorage By the Sea: Located right on Ogunquit Beach, Anchorage By the Sea is a family-friendly higher priced resort with an indoor pool, spacious accommodations, and easy access to the town's attractions.
Meadowmere Resort: A relaxing retreat close to Ogunquit's town center, Meadowmere Resort features a full-service spa, indoor and outdoor pools, and comfortable rooms for a rejuvenating stay.
Gorges Grant Hotel: Offering a mix of traditional elegance and contemporary style, Gorges Grant Hotel is a great choice for travelers looking for a centrally located accommodation with upscale amenities.
My favorite spots & activities:
Follow me on TikTok for up to date activities!
Marginal Way: 1.25 miles of the prettiest coastline I’ve ever seen. Great for all ages, there are some small inclines and the path can be narrow for a stroller. Perfectly positioned benches also along the walk for a picture-perfect rest!
Piano Bar @ the Front Porch: I mean, it’s not for the kiddos, but if you want to SING & thoroughly immerse yourself in the community while dining and sipping delicious cocktails, this is the place!
Ogunquit Playhouse: Not just a small town theater, it covers multiple plays throughout the season with Broadway Actors & Singers! Check out their schedule on their website.
Ogunquit Beach: Such a hit with families with consistently gentle surf, and a collection of tide pools that toddlers and parents love. The clean, clear waters are fantastic for swimming, and at low tide, there's extensive room for long walks onto sand bars. Parking is available but limited in a large parking lot as you enter the beach area.
Perkins Cove: This charming fishing village is one of the most picturesque spots in southern Maine. It’s renowned for its fresh seafood, such as lobsters, oysters, clams, and crabs, which you can catch on a private or group fishing tour. It’s also a haven for art lovers—check out the galleries and local boutiques selling quirky knick-knacks and handicrafts.
